I have played many different travel drum kits in my career and there is always one thing that pushes me back to my full size kit… the thin sounding bass drum! Matt has figured out a way to reduce the size of the kit and maintain the full sound of the bass drum by somehow fusing a cajon with a 16″ floor tom. Obviously it’s not that simple, but that is the only way I can explain what I am seeing. Whatever magic he did, it sounds great. Enjoy the video!
